SafeHaven Development Initiatives (SDI)

SafeHaven Development Initiatives (SDI) is a non-profit, impact-driven, women-led organization committed to advancing the rights, health, wellbeing, and socio-economic empowerment of women, children, and vulnerable populations across Africa. Founded with a vision to create safe, inclusive, resilient, and thriving communities, SDI works at the intersection of public health, human rights, environmental sustainability, innovation, and technology-driven development.

At SafeHaven Development Initiatives, we believe that sustainable development can only be achieved when vulnerable populations are equipped with the tools, opportunities, and support systems needed to live healthy, dignified, and productive lives. Our work is rooted in equity, inclusion, social justice, and community-centered solutions that address systemic inequalities and promote long-term transformation.

SDI designs and implements evidence-based programs that address critical development challenges affecting underserved communities, with strategic focus areas including:
